Northeastern accounts open the way to university resources, including the Student Hub and Outlook email accounts . The username and password are set up at the time of account claim. To claim a Northeastern student account, click the unique link in the email (valid for 60 days after receipt) to begin the process. If it has been more than 60 days, contact the IT Service Desk .

All Northeastern community members are responsible for helping keep the university safe from phishing and other security threats . Northeastern will never ask you to confirm your username and password in an email. Use the Report Message button in your Outlook client to immediately report a suspicious email. If you have any reason to believe that your account has been compromised, email phishcatcher@northeastern.edu to immediately report it to the Office of Information Security .

Northeastern email accounts include downloads of the Office suite on up to five personal devices and the online and mobile versions of the Office apps. Microsoft Teams, the preferred online collaboration hub at Northeastern, allows users to store files and apps, hold conversations and meetings, and make voice calls.  Northeastern students can download the Microsoft 365 suite on Windows or Mac at no cost.

To access your account, visit teams.northeastern.edu and log in using your Northeastern username and password.

Adobe Creative Cloud

Northeastern offers the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite for students at no cost. Request access to begin using more than 20 Adobe applications, including:

Loaner laptops can be borrowed by visiting the Tech Bar on the Boston and Oakland campuses. Visit the IT Service Desk to reserve a laptop, retrieve it from a designated locker, and then return it to a locker when finished. Vending machines also provide power adapters, recorders, presentation clickers, and other technology items for loans.
