論文摘要
《老子道德經》原書不過五千餘言,《道德經》博大精深,流傳久遠,迄今二千四百餘年,遍及世界各國。其對於中國先秦時期的思想史、學術史以及宗教史的研究,有著極為重要的地位。《老子道德經》古今注解甚繁、版本分歧,各家說法,莫衷一是。然而版本的差異,可能會造成不同的研究結論,無論是無意的脫文、衍文、倒誤、錯簡….,乃至於有意的篡改(偽字或諱字)、抽燬等情況,均會導致修習者,其對於經典義理的研究體會互殊,而有著極為深鉅的影響。自一九七三年十二月,湖南長沙馬王堆漢墓出土《老子道德經》之甲本(小篆)、乙本(隸書)兩種抄本,可以確切證實,其書寫於秦漢之際,其成書時間當在始皇統一六國之前,然至一九九三年冬,於湖北省荊門市郭店一號楚墓,出土約存八百餘枚楚墓竹簡,此批楚簡包含多種古籍,而其中簡本《老子道德經》之甲篇、乙篇、丙篇是迄今為止所見年代最早的《老子道德經》傳抄本。
本論文即以郭店楚墓所出土的《老子道德經》甲篇、乙篇、丙篇三組竹簡為研探中心,而將歷代《老子道德經》之版本與其相關章節文句並列,且加以比對研究。主要目的與要旨乃藉由版本的比較與研究,將歷代的傳本及注本並列,以版本校讎治學之法,來對勘《老子道德經》,俾使研究《老子道德經》的學者對於歷代經文的誤解與注本的疏謬加以釐清,以供參證。
本論文研究方法,是採用圖書館學中的比較法,並佐以文獻分析法與歷史研究法,來進行有關問題之研究。進行步驟如下:(1)蒐集《老子道德經》之版本及其相關參考文獻,先以郭店楚簡《老子》為中心,將郭店楚簡竹簡作一內容簡述,其次對郭店楚簡《老子》與今本《老子道德經》之章次、文句加以相應比對。(2)依據《老子道德經》各版本及註本之不同,就各版本作個別之版本敘述,包括成書時間、背景、刊刻經過及作者姓氏略歷。再就釋文(白文)之差異性作一詳細解釋。(3)並列:就各版本及注本之異同列出比較項目,以並列對照。(4)比較:根據比較項目加以探究比較,說明各版本之相似與相異處。

The original copy of 《Lao-tze Tao-terh Ching》contains nothing more than 5000 words. Tao-terh Ching, extensive and profound, circulated through ages all over the world for over2400 years, has played an important role, during the period of the Former Chin,in the study of the history of ideology, the hisstory of learning and the history of religions .The annotation of 《Lao-tze Tao-terh Ching》at all ages being numerous ,editions and versions being dilfferent,there is no agreement of opinion at all.
However, different editions may cause different study conclusions. Whether to miss out words by accident,to evolve words, to inverse, to misidentify bamboo slips,or even to distort deliberately ( bogus words or words avoided mentioning ),to damage by drawing,etc. ,will all lead learners to different study and realization of the Chinese Classics and principles and will consequently have a profound influence. Since December,1973,two kinds of transcripts of 《Lao-tzeTao-terh Ching》, Book A( Hsiao-chuan, a type of calligraphy) and Book B(Li-shu,official script),both excavated from Han tomb of Ma--Wang--Tuei at Chang-sha,Hu-nan,have actually proved to be written between Chin Dynasty and Han Dynasty and accomplished before Chin-shih-huang unified the whole country under the Chin Dynasty. But in the winter of 1993,about 800-odd bamboo slips of Chu tomb were excavated from Chu tomb,Kuo-tien No. 1, including various ancient books,among which chapters A,B,C, in the simplified copy of 《Lao-tze Tao-terh Ching》have still been the earliest circulated transcripts of 《Lao-tze Tao-terh Ching》.
This thesis centers on the study of Chapters A,B,and C of bamboo slips in 《Lao-tze Tao-terh Ching》excavated from Chu tomb of Kuo-tien, juxtaposing and collating editions of all generations and connected sentences in each chapter. The main purpose is to compare and examine 《Lao-tze Tao-terh Ching》by doing scholarly research on edition compare and study, juxtaposing the editions handed down from generation to generation and explanatory versions so that scholars studying 《Lao-tze Tao-terh Ching 》may use it for reference,to revise the text of classic books of all generations and correct careless mistakes in explanatory versions.
This thesis has adopted the comparative method of the library science, documentary analytic method, and history-studying method to conduct related researches. The steps are as follows:
(1) To collect the editions of 《Lao-tze Tao-terh Ching》and related documents,by first centering on 《Lao-tze》from bamboo slips of chu chian at Kuo-tien, making a brief statement of the content about the bamboo slips of chu chian
and then collating the chapters and sentences of 《Lao-tze》from bamboo slips of chu chian at Kuo-tien with those from modern edition of 《Lao-tze Tao-terh Ching》.
(2) To make,according to the different editions and explanatory versions of 《Lao-tze Tao-terh Ching 》,an individual statement of each version as to the time for completing the book, the background, publishing and carving process, the writer’s name and brief experience and then to explain in detail the differences in each interpretation the Text.
(3) To juxtapose the differences and similarities of each individual edition and explanatory version.
(4) To compare and probe, according to the items compared the differences and similarities of each individual edition.
