We will be conducting a rigorous voting process with over 5,000 voting members, consisting of music industry professionals from various fields, including artists, creators, recording company employees, promoters, music publishers, overseas music award judges.
Nominees and winners will be decided and awarded through strict voting by these members.

ENTRIES Entries will be automatically selected using an objective metric tied to data from Billboard Japan, Oricon, GfK/NIQ Japan, Luminate, and other major sources.
*Some categories may have different selection processes. WINNERS Both domestic and international voting members will select the winning works/artists. ANNOUNCEMENT The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony in Kyoto, Japan on May 21 and May 22, 2025. The logo symbolizes igniting the future of music worldwide, featuring the letter 'M' from 'MUSIC' represented through a musical staff. The red gradient employs the traditional Ukiyo-e shading technique called 'Fukibokashi.' It was crafted by Kenji Takenaka, the fifth-generation artisan of Takenaka Mokuhan in Kyoto.
