Wednesday, 12 February 2014全球动力系统公司罗尔斯•罗伊斯遄达XWB发动机助力空中客车A350 XWB参加了新加坡航展，这也标志着该机型首次在亚洲公开亮相。
A350 XWB定于今年由首飞客户卡塔尔航空投入运营。
罗尔斯•罗伊斯客户服务高级副总裁Phil Harris表示：“参加新加坡航展只是A350 XWB 和遄达XWB将要在2014年经历许多激动人心的时刻的开始。我们期待着遄达XWB发动机助力A350 XWB投入卡塔尔航空的商业运营，并为包括新加坡航空在内的全球其他40家客户顺利投入运营提供支持。”
专为A350 XWB设计的遄达XWB是有史以来最畅销的遄达发动机，已接到超过1,600台的订单。2013年6月该款发动机助力A350 XWB进行了首次试飞，如今正在为A350 XWB在全球开展的各种飞行试验提供动力。
与1995年投入服务的第一代遄达发动机相比，遄达XWB发动机的效率提高了16%。
