Great hospitality and very helpful staff all around (especially Mike & Stella from reception). This is our third time staying at this hotel, very convenient location as well, right next to the metro and shopping centre which is great for food options and getting about.

We are happy to have chosen the Pullman Hotel because it makes you feel home away from home. The staff is very welcoming, the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. A wonderful stay at the Pullman Shanghai Hotel. I would like to thank the entire Pullman Shanghai hotel team, especially hotel manager Mr. Danny Stam and guest experience manager Ms. Evelyn Chin, for a fantastic, unforgettable stay at the hotel. Congratulations to the wonderful team, who were very helpful, always smiling, and very professional. Breakfast was delicious, with a large selection of food and drinks, including an egg and soups station. The Executive Lounge in the Garden Restaurant was excellently organized, especially the very tasty hot pot. The room (Skyway Studio) was spacious, very well-appointed and beautifully designed The hotel location is excellent. The reception staff and concierge, especially Elton, were very friendly. If I had any questions, the staff were always available, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and smiling. I spend an average of 80-90% of my time in hotels, and objectively speaking, I consider this hotel one of the best I've ever stayed in. I highly recommend this hotel, and once again, I congratulate the hotel manager on such a wonderful team and appreciate his professionalism and high level of competence.

We stayed at the Pullman Shanghai Central for 2 nights to start our trip to China. We arrived at around 10am via taxi from Pudong airport which cost around £20 and took 50 minutes. We were allowed to check-in early which was great, our room was situated on the 22nd floor with lounge access included, during our stay the lounge was being renovated but we could still use the restaurant at the hotel for breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour (which included a buffet dinner). The room was great clean, spacious and comfortable perfect for an afternoon nap to get out of the intense heat. In terms of location it was easy to get to Shanghai's main attraction either via the line 9 metro around a 5 minute walk away or via taxis which are really cheap in China. Overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel and special mentions to Henry working in the restaurant for great service and to the doorman (unfortunately I didn't get his name) who always greeted us with a smile.
