Resetting the Surface Pressure

The device automatically determines the surface pressure using the barometric altimeter. Large pressure changes, such as during a flight, can cause the device to automatically start a dive activity. You can reset the surface pressure if the device automatically starts a dive activity incorrectly. LIGHT until the device turns off. LIGHT to turn on the device. When the Descent™ logo appears, hold MENU until you are prompted to reset the surface pressure.
