In recent years, more and more researchers juxtapose adaptation studies with translation studies. They hope to offer new standards or insights for translation and adaptation. And to examine the process and results of intersemiotic translation and intermedia adaptation, this thesis intends to study how Dracula has been adapted from novel to TV mini-series since 1897 to 2020. Abandoning the benchmark of fidelity and equivalence, this thesis adopts the concepts of intertextuality and Neo-Victorianism to compare the novel with the 2020 adaptation in characters, settings and so on to further discover how Dracula can always adapt to the new era and never get old. The result indicates that Dracula can keep pace with the times through adaptations, so this classic may spread more widely and longer.
