I open Anaconda then launch Spyder from it
a CMD window opens with the following message
C:\Users\user\chp 1252
Active code page: 1252
C:\Users\user\call C:\Users\user\anaconda3\Scripts\activate c:\Users\user\anaconda3
(base) C:\Users\user\spyder 1>nul 2>nul
If I close the CMD window, Spyder closes down
Expected Behavior
Expected behaviour is Spyder can be launched from Anaconda, no CMD window pops up.
Steps to Reproduce
Open Anaconda then launch Spyder from it
Anaconda or Miniconda version:
version 3
Operating System:
Windows

It also happens to me since June, when I installed the last version of Anaconda. I had downloaded Anaconda several times before and never happened this.
OS: Windows
Same problem for me...
OS:
Windows: 10 Pro x64 (Compilation: 19043.1165)
Anaconda Navigator:
v2.0.4 (last update day: August 10, 2021)
Spyder:
v5.0.5 (last update day: August 10, 2021)
Description:
I launch Anaconda Navigator, launch the environment with name: enviroment_tests and I launch Spyder, and it automatically launches a Windows command prompt (cmd.exe) with the following:
C:\Users\myPCuser>chcp 1252
Active code page: 1252
C:\Users\myPCuser>call C:\Users\myPCuser\anaconda3\Scripts\activate C:\Users\myPCuser\anaconda3\envs\enviroment_tests
(enviroment_tests) C:\Users\myPCuser>spyder 1>nul 2>nul
C:\Users\Leon>chcp 936
Active code page: 936
C:\Users\Leon>call D:\Apps\anaconda3\Scripts\activate D:\Apps\anaconda3
(base) C:\Users\Leon>spyder 1>nul 2>nul
After I reset the preferences of Configure Navigator and click on Save and Restart, Spyder can be opened without troubling cmd window. But next time when I open the Navigator, the issue is still there.
Besides, the link for Spyder generated in the start menu works fine.
I had the same problem. I've read in a webpage that this is not a problem with Spyder. It's a problem with Anaconda Navigator. The following solution worked for me:
go to File >> Preferences >> Configure Conda >> Reset to defaults
go to File >> Preferences >> Configure Navigator >> Reset to defaults

@khaledabbud - Thank you for the solution
It took me a minute to figure out that you were talking about was within Anaconda Navigator.
In Anaconda Navigator >> File Menu >> Preferences >> Configure Conda >> Reset to defaults >> Save and Restart
In Anaconda Navigator >> File Menu >> Preferences >> Configure Navigator >> Reset to defaults >> Save and Restart

It works, but I have to do this every time I run Anaconda. Not working permanently here.

When I close and open the application, everything resets and the command screen starts to open again, can you help?
