大賽背景:
為紀念莫內在藝術創作領域方面的貢獻和成就，表彰國際青少年藝術創作，增進世界文化與藝術創作之間的交流。法國藝術家協會文化藝術發展委員會和巴黎高等藝術學院聯合委員會連同 莫奈美育藝術中心(北京)共同創立了莫奈國際藝術獎。
In order to commemorate Monet's contribution and achievement in the field of artistic creation, to recognize the international youth artistic creation, to enhance the communication between the world culture and artistic creation. The Committee for the Development of Culture and Art of the Association of French Artists and the Joint Committee of Ecole des Arts Superieure de Paris jointly established the Monet Prize for International Art, together with the Monet Center for Aesthetic Arts (Beijing).
大賽意義:
莫奈國際藝術獎作為世界級藝術平台，參與人數覆蓋全球多個國家(馬來西亞、新加坡、日本、美國、瑞士、加拿大等國家)數萬學校及機構，數十萬件藝術作品受邀參選，該獎項是一涵蓋青少年及兒童以及藝術愛好者的國際藝術交流平台，强調原創和積極性。
As a world-class art platform, tens of thousands of participants from schools and institutions in many countries around the world (Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, the United States, Switzerland, Canada, etc.), and hundreds of thousands of art works were invited to participate in the Monet International Art Prize, which is an international art exchange platform for teenagers, children and art lovers, emphasizing originality and initiative.
